After 25 years of creating photo essays around the world, I put my suitcases down in Angers and now, it's the world that comes to us! Our guests hail from all continents and I enjoy chatting with them about their country (which I often know). I speak French, English, Russian, as well as Polish, and breakfast time is a privileged moment of exchange, which allows me to use my language skills! As a photographer specializing in cultural heritage sites, I fell in love with the city of Angers and its beautiful limestone buildings. On my wife's side, the Angevin roots date back to the 19th century. We took pleasure in customizing each room by giving it the names of family members: "Mathilde" (my wife's great-great-grandmother), "Alexis" (her husband), "Ernest" (their youngest son, director of the Haras d'Angers at the end of the 19th century), as well as "Josephine" or "Henry". The paintings and many of the objects in the rooms come from this family history. In the living room you will find a piano, a library rich in novels and art books along with many magazines. We are happy to put them at your disposal. You can also pet Myszka, our beloved gray cat. Our greatest delight will be knowing that you feel at home with us.
